Sony Smart TV compatibility

Hi,can anybody tell me If S ony Portable Bluetooth Speaker SRS XB30 is compatible with my 2016 Sony Smart TV? I.e is it possible to connect wirelessly via Bluetooth? I've got a Bose Soundwave IIII and unable to make Bluetooth connection.

Would really appreciate a reply to my post.

No. The TV is missing A2DP BT profile so no audio over BT.

unless you really need it to be BT you can use 3.5mm-3.5mm cable.

Or look for some BT transmitter. I have zero experience with those but I believe that there are some that can be used for that.

I'm sorry but I don't understand Bernie1, you were answered... You cannot use your BT device with the TV.

I was simply asking if any member could recommend a Bluetooth device or
transmitter which would allow TV and portable speaker to pair.
