Hi there

Have you tried simply setting the speakers to "Audio System" upon pressing the [Action Menu] button on the remote control? If that fails...

Is your external audio system connected to the TV via HDMI? If so, try going through this troubleshooting list HERE.

If that fails, please reply back with the make/model of your audio system and how things are connected up.

The system was working perfectly until I did the software update , I have gone through all the settings, got it working but when the television was switched off and back on it lost the settings. I have tried a quick reset and a factory reset to no avail.
