I've linked my Sony sound bar and 4k Blueray to my Bravia TV. I'm unsure what settings I should be using in the TV/sound bar automatically picks up the TV sound type based on the source.

The TV is set for movie for input from Blueray sources but looking at the sound bar manual the it's sound should be set to clear sound to allow automatic selection of sound type based on TV source. However when selecting a Blueray source the soundbar does change to "movie" automatically which I think it should or isn't that the case when using this sync function /clear sound.

Hi there

Can you confirm the model numbers of the Bluray player, Soundbar and TV that you have. As you can imagine, its hard to advise without knowing the devices you have.
