Why not just concentrate on delivering Nougat and skip Marshmallow.

Get it right

get it tested

then release it.

Fix all the bugs

introduce new better & improved features.

win back your customers respect and deliver an awesome experience

and make the software compatible with ALL sony android TVs

Hi there

Not happening - Even though Sony is developing the Nougat update for a future release, Sony will re-continue with the Marshmallow update at some point once they are confident the major issues have been solved.
