    <description>&lt;P&gt;hi, i have a kd-55x8500d which was bought in the middle east (australia model) but is now in the uk. the update to marshmallow is not available on the au site, but the update is available for the xd8505 on uk site. is this update on uk site okay to install on my tv as they appear to be the same models??&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I would say don't even think about it&amp;nbsp;unless you have an absolute assurance from Sony that it&amp;nbsp;is OK. Regional variations between hardware mean that you could end up with an expensive doorstop if you try.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have it confirmed as OK first by Sony would be my advice.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
